Blog Entry 5

For this blog entry I want to talk about the question, "What do you think is the most important role a teacher plays?  Why?"
My response to this is that what I think the most important role that a teacher can play is someone they trust. I feel that trust is something that a teacher and students have to have to be able to succeed on both ends.
Something I have noticed in my classroom observation is that these children trust their teacher and their classroom helpers with their whole hearts. They would have such a hard time functioning in the classroom if that trust was not built.
A teacher is supposed to help push a child to be their best. A child will only reciprocate if they know they can trust what the teacher is telling them.
